‘SEX AND THE CITY 2’ SWIMWEAR DESIGNER TO MAKE HER U.S. DEBUT AT
SALON ALLURE DURING MIAMI SWIM WEEK

(Miami, June 14, 2010) – SALON ALLURE announced today that Istanbul-based Ivana Sert
Beach Fashion by Ivana Sert, featured in the just-released film ‘Sex and the City 2’, will launch in the U.S. at its July 17-20 tradeshow. The event will be held at W South Beach and will offer designers, retailers, press, and other members of industry, the latest view of the flourishing swimwear industry, currently the largest growing segment of the apparel business.

Celebrity stylist Patricia Field, who has styled for the ‘Sex and the City’ series since its inception, met Sert while on a business trip to Turkey. After attending a fashion show for Sert in Istanbul, Fields chose a swimsuit from her Glamours collection, which is donned by actress Kim Cattrall in the new film. The swimsuit, called “Jewel of my Body”, features over 350 special cut Swarovski stones and retails for $2,000, with other pieces in the collection priced as low as $240. Sert, who hopes to establish distribution in the U.S., will showcase the ‘Sex and the City 2’ swimsuit and the Glamours collection exclusively at SALON ALLURE.

“I wanted to launch my collection in a resort setting that would compliment my brand, and Salon Allure provides an ideal platform”, says Sert. “It’s an opportunity to connect with the U.S. and other important markets all in one place at one time.”
“Ivana Sert Beach Fashion brings a fresh perspective to the industry, and we are delighted to have her in our inaugural SALON ALLURE show,” said Rick Fatzinger, co-founder of SALON ALLURE.

SALON ALLURE is the first and only show during Miami Swim Week to feature swimwear,
