The September Issue
Although we here at beScene prefer other Vogue`s to American Vogue, we`re DEFINITELY excited that a real-life Devil Wears Prada has been documented. We're looking forward to this, as the documentary portrays everything that we also work hard at doing everyday. And no one can neglect Anna Wintour's undeniable talent and reverence as a significant fashion icon of our time.

Inglourious Basterds

Brad Pitt and Diane Kruger star is this comical version of WWII. Directed by my personal favorite, Quentin Tarantino, the plot follows Jweish-American soldiers known as "The Basterds" on a quest to kill nazis in France. Paths cross when a beautiful theatre owner, whose parents were killed by the Nazi troops, catches the eye of a German war hero who arranges a premiere to be held at her theatre. In attendance, of course, are the elite of the Nazi soldiers. On this eventful night, the avengeful theatre owner works with "The Basterds" in their conspiracy. What happens is to be left to the viewers, who are sure to laugh their asses off.

Obssession

Chris Weitz is the new director to the oh-so anticipated Twilight squeal, New Moon, due to hit theaters November 20, 2009. The second installment of the Twilight Saga is set to be the darkest of the four peculiar novels written by Stephanie Mayer. Of course, it just isn’t Robert Pattinson’s “perfect character” (notice the bold face and italisized print; I don’t think I could have emphasized that enough .:sighs:.) and his playfully boyish good looks, but Taylor Lautner beefed up to play the roll of Jacob Black, making it even harder for the ladies to peel their eyes off the silver screen. Of course, Kristen Stewart has to be one of, if not thee, luckest girls on Earth having to be in between the most controversial love triangles in tene-bopper history. With the day view of Hiedi’s character played by Canadianmodel Noot Seear, boys--it’ll be just as easy to join the drooling girls, bib and all. I don’t think November 20th can come fast enough…oh, the anticipation!!!!!
Peace and Love
