30 Seconds to Mars

At The Fillmore Miami Beach: April 27, 2010

If you thought you knew Jared Leto, think again. The prolific actor, famous for such movies as "Fight Club", "Requiem for a Dream", and "American Psycho", seems like a shade of his former self. Decked out in skin tight jeans, leather studded jacket, and complete with a fresh pink mohawk, this 30 Seconds to Mars front man took Miami by storm with all of the energy and charisma you could only expect from a seasoned rock star. From opening with the haunting "Night of the Hunter" to belting out a string of hits including "Attack", "The Kill", and "Kings and Queens", among others, Leto commanded the stage and mesmerized the audience with all of the flair and theatrics you would expect from a Hollywood mainstay.
Opening for 30 Seconds to Mars was the Grammy-nominated quartet from New Orleans, Mute Math, a band quickly becoming known for their chaotic and electric stage performances.
