This year's 6th annual Fashion Miami hosted by Gen Art brought some of the fashion games freshest faces. This year's event, presented by Chrysler, was held on the streets of Miami on the corner of 39th St and 1st Court in the Design District. Gen Art’s fresh faces brought in the funk and flair for their 2010 winter line. “FASHIONmiami promises to be an extraordinary event. The runway shows coupled with the ancillary programming provided a platform for showcasing the innovation and creativity in today’s fashion industry. FASHIONmiami – which is rich in content, creativity and combines commercial interests that are relevant to consumers – is just the type of programming we strive to promote in the Miami Design District. We are pleased that FASHIONmiami will call the Miami Design District its home.” -Craig Robins, president and CEO of Dacra Development said. The fresh faces that showed were: Duskin from New York, Lialia, Fernanda Carneiro, rOMINA.hEIGHES (who absolutely rocked the runway), By Smith and New York City’s socialite Whitney Port showing her new line Whitney Eve. Whitey closed the show with a mixture of 80’s style and modern day glam, giving the show's finale a fun and creative feel. Showcased in exclusive installations shown in the Lounge Area accessories were featured by B.Rawlings, Babette Epaulette, and Rella Jewelry. This year’s event brought in the great vibes and exceptional fashion that hit upon everyone’s individual style. What will Gen Art bring us next? One can only imagine!
