MOD Shop --Get Your Model Walk
It was a hell of a rise to the PLUNGE rooftop at the Gansevoort Hotel on that windy Wednesday night. It was the 20th of Jan. 2010 and the mood was oh-so-definitely right. MOD Media had put together it’s signature ‘MOD Shop’ and on this special evening it was hosted by none other than us here at beScene Magazine. That’s right, we were rockin’ it. And there to capture it all was, events photographer, Aaron Davidson. We had a few of the who’s who in the local fashion scene setting up shop for us: Electric Couture, The Electric Boutique, One Love Brand, Movilos Designs, Dimpled Designs, Lady Lux Boutique, and Fashion District. It was a night for natural networking and massive mingling, to say the least.
Now, who could pass up capturing the true essence of a setting like that? Not photographer Nicholas Pineiro---no sir. Paired up with Kira Alvarado, truly a natural to work in such chilly temperatures like there were, it was definitely one of your ‘a picture says 1000 words’ moments. Being a live photo shoot the pressure was on… and did they deliver? Without a doubt. If you weren’t there you missed out on a truly spectacular night shared with some people seriously worth knowing.
