dirty pop

Pop Life: Art in a Material World does a re-reading on one of the major legacies of Pop Art. This presentation takes Andy Warhol’s saying that “good business is the best art” as the starting point to reconsider the legacy of Pop Art. Pop Life: Art in a Material World looks back at the artists from the 1980s that have been in the mass media and that created their own signature “brands”. Artists include Tracey Emin, Keith Haring, Damien Hirst, Martin Kippenberger, Jeff Koons, Takashi Murakami and Richard Prince. Definitely something that will inspire the whole world as these artist inspired many artist that are here today.
