Kudos on yet another crowd breaking performance by Miami’s very own ¡Mayday!. No surprise that last night's show @ Transit Lounge brought ¡Mayday!’s most devoted fans to “Rock out with their Cocks out”. Their prophetic lyrics and mind altering euphoric beats send shock waves up and down your body forcing your feet to move, hips to shake, and head to bop subconsciously. ¡Mayday!’s respect among the musical community has gained them access to many locked doors, bringing the pioneers of the hardcore punk genre, and Washington D.C.’s very own Bad Brains to formally introduce them on to Transit’s stage, dressed as a giant balloon head with the words “Bad Influence” printed across his face. He brought the crowd to their feet to prepare them for the harmonized flows of Lt. Hopkin’s drums beats, NONMS’ conga thump, Plex Luthor’s key board harmonies, percussion sounds by Gianni Cash, vocal vibrations from Wrekonize and fresh emcee styles by Bernbiz himself. The infectious vibes left everyone in good spirits. As a token of gratitude by ¡Mayday!’s fans, 2 Johnny Walker on the rocks were purchased upon a mere act of momentary teasing by Wrek, it seems as though their fans “put their money where his mouth is”. Their musical talent is extraordinary, and beScene is proud to be a part of such a ground breaking group of young men, creating a scene of their very own.
